Irene Asuwa is a social scientist and community engagement specialist with expertise in various social and ecological issues. She is co-convener of Ecological Justice, and sits on the National Advisory Committee for Voices for Just Climate Action Alliance, the Advisory Board of Africa Youth Initiative on Climate Change, the Climate Justice Core Group at IBON Africa and the Technical Working Group of the Legal Resources Foundation climate justice consortium. She also supports outreach at Ukombozi Library.
